Where ChatGPT Plus is genuinely the better buy
Three things, and they are real. The mobile app is better than anything here, because there is no mobile app here at all. Advanced Voice is more polished than a browser microphone. And the GPT store is a genuine library of other people’s work that has no equivalent on this site.
If your day is spent talking to an assistant on a phone, or if a specific custom GPT is load-bearing in your workflow, the twenty dollars is doing something for you and this page is not going to argue with that.
What Plus cannot do is hand the same question to a different lab. For work where the answer matters more than the wrapper — a contract clause, a dataset, a piece of code, a claim that needs a source — being able to switch models mid-thread is worth more than any single feature, and it costs $5 rather than $20.
