ChatGPT Plus vs BlueAI

ChatGPT Plus is $20 a month. This is $5. Here is the whole difference.

Both give you a capable assistant and a chat box. One gives you OpenAI’s models; the other gives you five labs at a quarter of the price. This page lays out where each one wins, including the parts where ChatGPT Plus wins.

The two plans, line by line

PlanPriceWhat you get
BlueAI trial$0A 14-day Pro trial with every new account, encrypted history, no card held
BlueAI Pro$5/mo10,500 messages a month, flagship models, 36 research sessions
ChatGPT Free$0Variable limits, OpenAI models only
ChatGPT Plus$20/moOpenAI flagships, mobile app, GPT store, voice mode
ChatGPT Pro$200/moHighest OpenAI limits, still one lab

Competitor prices are public entry-level paid plans, checked August 2026.

Four differences that decide it

One lab or five

Plus gives you OpenAI. This gives you GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek in the same thread, so a weak answer gets a second opinion instead of a second subscription.

What sign-up asks for

Plus wants an email and often a phone number. Here an account is a username and a password, and the first question needs neither.

What is stored

Conversations are encrypted in your browser before they are saved, with a key derived from your password. What sits on the server is not readable by us.

What $180 a year buys

The gap between $20 and $5 is about $180 over a year for the same category of work — writing, summarising, comparing, research with sources.

Where ChatGPT Plus is genuinely the better buy

Three things, and they are real. The mobile app is better than anything here, because there is no mobile app here at all. Advanced Voice is more polished than a browser microphone. And the GPT store is a genuine library of other people’s work that has no equivalent on this site.

If your day is spent talking to an assistant on a phone, or if a specific custom GPT is load-bearing in your workflow, the twenty dollars is doing something for you and this page is not going to argue with that.

What Plus cannot do is hand the same question to a different lab. For work where the answer matters more than the wrapper — a contract clause, a dataset, a piece of code, a claim that needs a source — being able to switch models mid-thread is worth more than any single feature, and it costs $5 rather than $20.
